Deputy Principal Academic

Aldai Technical Training Institute is a public national TVET institution in Nandi County under the Ministry of Education’s State Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training. The office of the Deputy Principal in Charge of Academic Affairs is in charge of all academic programs such as curriculum implementation, supervision, and assessment. To help the institute achieve its vision and mission, the office makes sure that trainees who sign up for courses meet the requirements for admission.

The institute boasts state-of-the-art training equipment and infrastructure to facilitate hands-on skills and training. It has seven admitting departments and a number of other support departments that facilitate the smooth delivery of TVET training, innovation, and research.

Additionally, it is registered and licensed by TVETA to offer market-driven courses in Building and Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ICT, Agriculture, and Environmental Studies, Hospitality and Institutional Management, Liberal Studies, and Business Studies. Our examining bodies are KNEC, KASNEB, TVET CDACC, and NITA.

The institute has included the utilization of technology in its training programs to simulate, gamify, and adapt to individual trainee preferences while also creating a safer, stimulating, and practical-oriented learning environment. Its ability to offer different kinds of TVET through a mix of remote and on-site learning opportunities that happen at the same time or at different times has made it possible for youth, women, and people with disabilities to continue their education while still working in formal and informal sectors
